Carlton Michael Edwards Jr. is a Colombia, Missouri-born American professional stock car racing driver. Born on 15 August, 1979, Edwards is best known for driving in various series of NASCAR. Carl, who was the winner of 2007 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship, has been active in his profession as a race car driver in NASCAR since 2005.

He has won 25 times in the Sprint Cup Series while making it to the top ten in 211 races. He was the winner of the 2011 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. Until today, Edward has participated in a total of 245 races in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, while winning 38 of them. As for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Edwards has participated in 60 races run over the course of five years while winning six of them.
